1. Agreement overview
By accessing FORPROPELLERS (the “Marketplace”) you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and any feature-specific guidelines. If you do not agree, do not create an account or continue using the service.
- We may update these Terms at any time. Updates are effective upon posting.
- If we make material changes we will notify you via email or in-product notice.
- Your continued use of the Marketplace after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and legally able to enter into binding agreements to buy or sell on the platform.
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during signup and when publishing listings.
- You are responsible for safeguarding credentials, two-factor tokens, and any device that can access your account.
- We may suspend or terminate access if activity is fraudulent, abusive, or violates export, aviation, or safety regulations.
3. Listings, equipment, and transfers
Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy of listings, including the lawful ownership and condition of all hardware, accessories, and software licenses bundled with a sale.
- Only list gear you own or have written authorization to sell.
- Describe defects, repairs, remaining manufacturer warranty, flight hours, and include unaltered photos of the actual item.
- Remove flight controllers, cameras, or media that contain sensitive data before shipping.
- Transfer any required registration (FAA, local authority, insurance) and provide documentation to the buyer.
4. Fees, payouts, and taxes
Marketplace fees are shown before you publish a listing. We deduct the fee automatically from seller payouts.
- Payments are processed via secure checkout and may be subject to additional identity verification.
- Funds are released to the seller after the buyer confirms delivery or after the dispute window closes.
- You are responsible for reporting and paying all applicable taxes, duties, and regulatory fees.
- Chargebacks attributed to incomplete or misleading listings may be passed to the seller.
5. Shipping, disputes, and refunds
Shipment tracking must be provided within 72 hours of payment. Buyers have 48 hours after confirmed delivery to report issues.
- Use services that offer tracking, delivery confirmation, and insurance for the declared value.
- Open disputes from the Messages view and include documentation (photos, video, or bench reports).
- We may temporarily hold funds, issue partial refunds, or reverse payouts based on dispute findings.
- If parties cannot resolve a dispute, our Trust & Safety team will issue a final decision.
6. Trust, safety, and acceptable use
We reserve the right to audit, moderate, or remove content that violates marketplace standards, applicable laws, or community expectations.
- Do not share payment details outside the platform or attempt to bypass fees.
- Hate speech, harassment, or the sale of prohibited items (including weapons or modified firmware that violates aviation law) is not allowed.
- Accessibility accommodations are available upon request. Contact support if you require assistance completing a transaction.
7. Limitations of liability
FORPROPELLERS is provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law we will not be liable for lost profits, consequential damages, or issues caused by third-party carriers or payment processors.
- Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of USD $100 or the fees you paid to us in the preceding six months.
- Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so the above may not fully apply to you.
8. Changes, termination, and contact
We may modify or discontinue any part of the Marketplace without notice. You may cancel your account at any time from Settings; outstanding obligations (shipments, disputes, or payouts) must be resolved first.
