  • Listing data: photos, videos, serial numbers, descriptions, pricing, flight logs, and metadata you upload.
  • Usage data: clickstream, device identifiers, IP address, browser type, crash logs, and performance metrics.
  • Messages: conversations between buyers and sellers (including attachments) so we can assist with disputes and safety reviews.
  • Verification data: government ID images, liveness videos, and compliance attestations processed through accredited vendors.

2. How we use your information

Data fuels safety, personalization, and customer support. We never sell personal information to advertisers.

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the FORPROPELLERS platform, including personalization of listings and insights.
  • Verify identities, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
  • Facilitate communication between buyers and sellers and provide customer support.
  • Send transactional messages such as receipts, dispute updates, and security alerts.
  • Analyze aggregate behavior to plan new features and better route support resources.

3. When we share data

We only share personal data with trusted service providers or when legally required.

  • Payment processors and financial institutions that execute payouts or collect funds.
  • Identity verification, fraud prevention, and logistics partners that help confirm shipments.
  • Law enforcement or regulators when we receive a valid legal request.
  • Professional advisors (lawyers, accountants, auditors) under strict confidentiality.
  • If we undergo a merger or acquisition, we will provide notice before personal data is transferred.

4. Your choices & rights

Depending on your location you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain uses of your data.

  • Update profile, notification, and marketing preferences from Settings at any time.
  • Download a copy of your data or request deletion by emailing privacy support with the subject line “Data request”.
  • Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message.
  • Disable cookies in your browser; essential cookies needed for authentication will remain active.
  • Residents of the EU/EEA, UK, California, and other jurisdictions may have additional rights under local law.

5. Security & retention

We use encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and continuous monitoring to protect your information.

  • Security keys or authenticator apps are supported for two-factor authentication.
  • We regularly audit permissions, rotate secrets, and run third-party penetration tests.
  • Data is retained only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected or to meet legal obligations.
  • You will be notified without undue delay if a data breach is likely to result in a high risk to your rights.
